Been over a year since I last posted. I have changed some things on this site, hope you like them. I hope to post some photos soon. Will be checking around to see what is available. We had a wonderful turnout for the Portland Art and Heritage Fair. Folks seemed to enjoy the venues and trolley rides. We do know, if we have it again this year, that more trolleys and more sites to visit are wanted and needed. It took over 50 volunteers to make the event successful.
The December monthly meeting consisted a short business meeting and a very good volunteer appreciation dinner. "Sweet Baby J's" catered the event for us. Good food and good people.
Portland Now will be having strategic planning meetings in the next few months to decide what are the priorities that need to be addressed. If you don't attend the meetings then email us at [email protected] with what you think is most important at this changing time.
Along with Tim Faulkner Gallery, which has been a wonderful addition to the neighborhood, we have two coffee shops now. McQuixite is located in the Tim Faulkner Gallery. Hot Coffee is located at 17th and Duncan, for long time residents, where the bread store was located.
Until next time.
